Gap Personnel who are operating as an employment business are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for Administrator/Weighbridge for a recycling company based in St. Helens.

The position is a long-term maternity cover.

General Description:

The Site Administrator will be responsible for some Key Areas of the site such as weighbridge operation, purchase ordering on the Workday and Infor platforms, along with compliance concerning weights of vehicles leaving the site and compliance of all loads leaving the site in reference to EWC codes along with general office duties.

The Site Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Operation of the weighbridge
  • Raising Purchase orders on Workday
  • Raising Purchase orders on Infor
  • Receipting of the orders on the same platforms
  • Compliance of loads arriving and leaving the site (EWC codes)
  • General filing and office duties
  • Keeping the filing systems up to date with latest updates of documentation for site
  • Occasional liaison with contractors
  • Liaison with Central Logistics at the company on a daily basis

Experience you will need:

  • Excellent office management skills
  • Good understanding of the operating processes of the site
  • Fully conversant with EWC codes for compliance purposes
  • Excellent telephone and communication skills
  • Office/Administrative experience

Desirable:

  • Waste experience
  • Workday experience
  • Having held similar role in the past
  • Good knowledge of waste protocols
  • Good knowledge of Google Suite and computerised systems
  • Able to operate and be conversant with the Workday Platform
  • Being able to operate and be conversant with the Infor Platform

Location: St. Helens, WA10

Hour of work:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 7:45 am - 4:15 pm
  • 45 hours per week

Salary:

  • £29,120
