This employed, Mortgage Advisor job in Saint Helens offers the chance for a proactive, hungry Advisor to join a growing IFA firm in the North West.

The business will provide you with regular supply of leads from their professional introducer and enquiries from their large mortgage book. You should focus on providing excellent, informative mortgage and protection advice to clients.

75% of their mortgage clients have protection policies, therefore it is important you are able to maintain this level. The business are big advocates of having protection policies in place, so you must be comfortable discussing this with clients.

Alongside the new and existing clients provided by the company, it is important you are switched onto always looking for new business opportunities, whether that is obtaining referrals, building relationships with introducers or utilising their marketing materials on social media. You should look to self-generate business on a regular basis.

You will benefit from administration support to enable you to write excellent levels of business and provide quality service.

Mortgage Advisor Requirements

  • You must hold full CeMAP or equivalent
  • You should have CAS as a Mortgage Advisor
  • You should be comfortable in being proactive to generate new business opportunities
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to foster long-term relationships
