Night Shift, Maintenance Engineer - Merseyside

Monday - Friday (Nights)
20:00 - 06:00

Working on Nightshift as Part of a Team carrying out Planned and Preventive Maintenance Tasks Carrying out Plant checks and working on preplanned Jobs List.

Job Responsibilities

  • Complete nightly engineering checks such as, fire-watch checks, guard checks, machine checks, emergency stops
  • Complete PPMs on systems and machines (conveyors, crushers, optical sorters, motors)
  • Complete work orders / requests and report defects
  • Reactive to breakdowns
  • Looking for process improvements to reduce downtime on Process / Plant


Requirements

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering is essential
  • Experience gained working with conveyors is highly desirable
