The Role:

As Head of Quality, you will take the lead in shaping and delivering the quality strategy for a leading manufacturing organization. Managing multiple sites, you'll ensure best-in-class quality standards while continuously improving processes and systems. This is a role for someone who enjoys being hands-on, collaborating with teams, and working proactively to resolve quality challenges. With approximately 60% travel required, you'll be at the heart of operations, ensuring alignment across sites and driving a culture of quality excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a long-term quality strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a multisite Quality Assurance team
  • Oversee risk management, supplier quality, and process audits
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues using root cause analysis & corrective actions
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and SPC methodologies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments, suppliers, and customers
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other regulatory requirements

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a Quality Assurance leadership role within a regulated manufacturing environment (ideally aerospace)
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, quality tools, and methodologies (Six Sigma, SPC, 8D, FMEA)
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, drive change, and implement continuous improvement
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel to multiple UK sites.
