Responsibilities:
As a Quality Technician, your mission will be to ensure the highest quality standards throughout the organisation. Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct internal audits for ISO 9001 certification
- Generate and circulate Non-Conformance Reports
- Manage testing and reporting in line with retailer requirements
- Maintain technical databases and documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders on quality assurance initiatives
- Uphold safety standards and promote a clean working environment
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) grade C or above in English, Maths, and a related subject
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in a textiles or factory environment
- Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities
- Methodical and meticulous approach to work
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Experience with ISO 9001 auditing
- Familiarity with D365 Technical Specification database
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to produce high-quality written material
