About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Support Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Liverpool. Responsibilities:As an SEN Support Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with special educational needs.Assist in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies.Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to create an inclusive learning environment.Offer emotional and academic support, encouraging confidence and independence.Foster a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom experience.

What Were Looking For:We are looking for a compassionate and proactive individual with:

Relevant experience working with children with SEN, particularly in an educational setting.A good understanding of common SEN needs, such as autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.

Hold the Right to Work in the UK.Have an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one).Provide professional references covering the last two years.Possess relevant safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided).
