SEN Teaching Assistant - St Helens:

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups
  • Preparing learning resources and activities
  • Building rapport with pupils, parents and staff
  • Maintaining regular communication with the teacher and external agencies to ensure Education and Health Care plans are updated

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant or other relevant qualification is essential
  • Previous experience supporting SEN, in particular Autism

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
