SEN Teaching Assistant - St Helens:
The Role:
- Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups
- Preparing learning resources and activities
- Building rapport with pupils, parents and staff
- Maintaining regular communication with the teacher and external agencies to ensure Education and Health Care plans are updated
Position Details:
- Location: St Helens
- Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time/Part time: Full time only
- Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £100 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: 03/03/2025
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant or other relevant qualification is essential
- Previous experience supporting SEN, in particular Autism
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
