Job title: Admin/Accounts Assistant
Salary: Upto £36k per annum
Location: St Helens
Shifts: Monday to Friday - Fully office based

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts / Administrative Assistant to support our office operations. The ideal candidate will be organised, tech-savvy, and an effective communicator with a strong administrative background.

Successful candidate must have strong office skills, accounting knowledge/worked in an accounting position and good telephone manner to enable them to speak with clients and book meetings.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to office staff
  • Manage office communications and correspondence efficiently
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
  • Assist in scheduling meetings and appointments
  • Handle client phone calls professionally and courteously
  • Use computerised systems such as Xero, Monday, and Google Suite


Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in office software and computerised systems
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective phone etiquette and communication abilities
  • Minimum of 5 years of administrative or office experience


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: Up to £36,000 per year
  • Additional pay: Quarterly bonus
  • Benefits: Company pension, free parking, sick pay


Schedule:

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Monday to Friday


Qualifications:

  • Education: GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
  • Experience: 5 years of administrative experience (preferred)
  • Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (preferred)
