We are currently recruiting on behalf of our clients based in St Ives who are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant. This is a full-time permanent position, and this is an office-based role. To be successful, you will have some experience working in a similar position.
Typical duties include:
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the finance function
- Processing bank reconciliations
- Maintaining the purchase ledger function
- Supporting the preparation of VAT returns
- Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
- Performing any other ad-hoc tasks for the wider team
You will have:
- A professional accounting qualification, or working towards (Likely AAT)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communicator, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage your own workload
