Accounts Payable Team Leader

Our client is a successful business based in St Ives that continues to go from strength to strengthThey currently have an opportunity for someone who has the drive and ambition to take ownership of initiatives and assist with implementing new systems within accounts payable. This is a lovely role and one that will suit someone who thrives in a supportive environment but is also motivated to add value.Duties will include

  • Lead and oversee a team of three.
  • Assist with accounts payable process and month-end deadlines.
  • Manage statement reconciliations and discrepancies.
  • Review and report on aged creditors
  • Manage company expenses and payments
  • Support the implementation of cost-saving initiatives and processes.

The successful candidate will either have prior experience of looking after a small accounts payable team or be looking to step up into just such a role. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and is essential as are good Excel skills and the ability to work with different accounting systems (training will be given).You will need to bring excellent communication and people skills whilst being an out of the box thinker.
