Do you have a PhD in Physics, Photonics, Imaging or Similar.

Myclient is now seeking a PhD Qualified Physicist to join their team as an Applications Engineer.

Based at my client’s design and development facility in East Sussex, you will become the 'technical expert’, on all aspects of my clients’ products, from the usage, to new and developing application areas and markets.

Within the role you will collaborate with the R&D team to provide customer feedback and market insights, influencing the development of new products and enhancements to existing products.

You will also work alongside the sales and marketing team to help develop detailed application notes which highlight the capabilities and advantages of my client’s products across a range of application areas.

My client will offer full product training, after which you will be responsible for conducting product demonstrations, technical presentations, and application discussions to showcase the benefits of my client’s solutions.

In addition to this you will also collaborate with the Technical Sales Manager to develop and execute strategic sales plans aimed at achieving business growth objectives.

You will also provide technical support and guidance to customers throughout the sales process, including post-sales support as needed.

Product training will be given, but an understanding of this type of technology, and its applications is required.

Qualifications and Experience:

A PhD in Physics, Science, or a similar discipline is required to succeed in this role.
