Our client is an established high-end joinery and furniture manufacturer dealing with projects for both residential and commercial clients. They are currently looking for a Bench Joiner to join their hardworking and dedicated team in Hastings, East Sussex.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience as a Bench Joiner, be competent in traditional joinery and cabinetry including windows, doors and staircases, possess good problem-solving ability and have an excellent attention to detail. As a Bench Joiner you will follow scaled drawings/plans to manufacturer bespoke furniture and joinery using hand and power tools.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:
- Demonstrable experience as a Bench Joiner
- Be competent in traditional joinery and cabinetry including windows, doors and staircases
- Be creative and innovative
- Possess good problem solving ability
- Have an excellent attention to detail
- Be a strong team player
Your duties as a Bench Joiner would be:
- Following scaled drawings/plans to manufacture bespoke furniture and joinery
- Using hand and power tools
- Preparation of materials
- Working as part of a team to ensure deadlines are met
Salary:
£32,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience
Hours:
Monday – Thursday
Generally 36 hours per week
