Have you worked with production tooling equipment, and used automated equipment on a production line? My client is looking for a Production Operative to join its team as an extrusion setter and operator.
Job duties of the Production Operative are to:
- Set up and run all automated equipment
- Interpret technical specifications from drawings
- Process recycled materials using compounding processes
- Maintain accurate records and update systems as required
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve and deliver to business aims and objectives
Skills and experience required for the Production Operative are:
- Five years’ experience in extrusion (preferably PVC)
- NVQ or similar in pipe and profile extrusion
- Practical problem-solving attitude and ability
- Experience of setting, operating and troubleshooting a wide range of production tooling within an Extrusion Environment
- Production schedule management
- Ability to work as part of a team
