SEMH TEACHING ASSISTANT

• Full time• upto £120 per day• 8:30 - 3.30pmYou will be supporting vulnerable children in their school environment. Helping them to achieve calm and regulated moods to access their learning and development. You will be assisting the children with self-regulation activities and techniques.Working with students who are vulnerable and need support with their SEMH and personal needs. You will need to be aware of safeguarding processes within the school as well as putting them into action if it is required. You may be supporting students with elements of personal care when needed.Working with vulnerable children in schools will allow you the opportunity to see their interactions with others, understand how schools support students and families, and also be able to identify key support strategies that you could use later in your career. This opportunity will support growing your understanding of vulnerable children with SEMH, SEN and trauma and many other things.
