I am working with an established company based in Staffordshire, who are now looking for a Head of Analytical. This is a newly created role following an increase in workload and customer demands.

If you have experience as an Analytical Chemist and looking for that next step up, or you are already in a line management role, then this could be for you.

The company are looking for somebody to join them to focus on revamping the QMS, Using and maintaining analytical equipment such as ICP, BET surface area, NIR and particle size analysis, reviewing and signing off on finished chemical products and demonstrating analytical techniques to more junior members of the team.

Who are they looking for?

  • Degree in chemistry or similar relevant discipline
  • Experience maintaining and updating QMS such as LIMS
  • Experience in a quality control laboratory working with techniques equipment such as ICP, BET surface area, NIR and particle size analysis.
  • An understanding of QC and ISO procedures within the chemicals industry
  • Full right to work in the UK
