Contract Manager Location: StaffordSalary: £40-£42 p/d Hours: Mon-Friday- 37hours per week Grafton Recruitment are working on behalf of a busy, leading business in the Stafford area, who are looking recruiting for an experienced Contract Manager who will Provide systematic and efficient contract administration and management whilst supporting the main contract and consortium agreement administration and management.The role:

  • Establish, manage, and negotiate project specific claims
  • Ensure notices and notifications are given in line with contract requirements
  • Support and provide guidance to project and site teams on general contractual issues
  • Ensure the successful execution of site activities contracts as per agreed commercial obligations
  • Ensure that the site portions of all subcontracts are followed
  • Proactively assess risk/claim management for site activities contracts
  • Ensure that all important site records are adequately maintained.
  • Provide support and direction to site staff on all contractual and commercial matters
  • Ensure that all delay events and non-budgeted costs are properly identified, classified, well documented
  • Provide recommendations and advice on how to avoid additional cost and, when improbable

You will need:Education:*Degree in an appropriate technical discipline, e.g. quantity surveying, construction, engineering.*Additional project management and/or commercial education and professional registration (e.g. RICS) is appreciated.Experience*At least 5 years' experience in international EPC contracts, preferably in energy and renewable energy sectors.*Strong Commercial/negotiation and legal skills.*Excellent computer skills in MS-Windows and Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).*Fluent in English (oral and written), knowledge of any other language is appreciated.*Planning, organization, negotiation and presentation skills.If you meet the above criteria, please apply directly by clicking the link or contact Chloe Sims on /
