Robert Half is working with a large Private-Equity owned organisation to recruit a senior risk professional.. We're looking for a Senior Risk Manager to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their expertise in risk management within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

The Role:As Senior Risk Manager, you'll support the business in identifying and mitigating risks, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to the organisation's operational resilience. You'll work closely with finance and operational teams, building frameworks and delivering improvements that drive efficiency and reduce risk exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Frameworks: Assist in the development and implementation of risk management frameworks across the organisation.
  • Risk Reviews: Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations to improve processes and controls.
  • Documentation: Support the creation and maintenance of process maps and control matrices.
  • Policy Compliance: Ensure risk policies are adhered to and aligned with regulatory best practices.
  • Risk Monitoring: Prepare dashboards and reports to track identified risks and improvement initiatives.
  • Audit Support: Assist in audit preparation by ensuring accurate risk documentation is in place.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to promote a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to ongoing enhancements in risk processes through structured analysis and recommendations.

About You:We're looking for candidates who have:

  • Qualifications: A background in Risk, Audit, or Finance, with relevant professional qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a risk-focused role, ideally within a regulated or fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge: A solid understanding of risk management processes and financial controls.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to assess complex situations and recommend improvements.
  • Team Player: A collaborative approach, with the ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to clearly articulate risk-related insights to diverse stakeholders.
