Your new roleAs the solutions' developer, you will undertake complex changes to the IT systems of the university, as directed, write, test, and deploy high-quality code for software applications, following best practices and coding standards, design and resolve technical incidents.You will develop, test, and implement complex software applications based on business requirements and technical specifications. Ensure that code is clean, efficient, and adheres to best practices and coding standards.Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and analyse complex requirements. Translate these requirements into technical specifications and design software solutions that meet the defined needs.Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing applications, including bug fixes, performance improvements, and feature enhancements. Ensure that applications are reliable, up-to-date, and continue to meet user needs.You will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, testers, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery. Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively within the team and with stakeholders.Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure that software solutions are free of defects and meet quality standards.
