Description
路 Accountability for the QC Systems for the site
路 To manage and develop the QC Team and the laboratory team.
路 To support the Manufacturing Excellence Initiative on site
路 Advisory role for QHSE systems on site
路 Accountable for QC System and Lab Operations for the site
路 Includes testing and inspection requirements for all raw materials, products, intermediates, returns, waste, environmental requirements, preparing samples, plus equipment servicing and supply needs
路 Ensuring customer complaints are closed off in a timely manner.
路 Coaching and training to ensure analyst competence - ownership of the QC Competency Matrix
路 Ensuring resource balanced appropriately to support plant needs
路 Monthly and annual budget reviews and forecasting for QC need
路 Management of Customer Specifications / Product Specifications and Inspection Results information
路 Management of Raw Material Specifications
路 Responsible for product and raw material concessions.
路 Maintain transport documentation in conjunction with Procurement, Logistics and Customer Service Team 路 Maintenance of Approved Suppliers List
Profile
路 Minimum graduate or equivalent in chemistry or related scientific discipline, or another relevant qualification
路 Proven experience working in a laboratory environment within the chemical
industry
路 Experience working in a manufacturing environment and preferably the chemical manufacturing sector
路 Working knowledge of ISO9001
路 IT skills including Microsoft Office suite and SAP
路 Relevant experience to be able to lead continuous improvement activities
路 Experienced QHSE Auditor, for both internal and external
路 NEBOSH Certificate would be helpful but not essential.
