An ongoing position is available in our Logistics team as a FLT operative with some administrative duties
The first 12 weeks training period will be paid at £12.31 per hour.Will then increase to standard rate.
£13.94 per hour after 12 weeks training

Hours of work and salary
- Monday to Thursday, 07:30AM - 16:30PM (37 hours per week)
- Dependant on experience and overtime where available
- Overtime available for any work on Fridays where available
- Sunday would be paid at premium overtime rates!

Responsibilities:
- Warehouse duties to include picking, packing and scanning parts within a warehouse/stores environment
- Operating various types of MHE inc, Counterbalance FLT, Aisle Masters, LLOP and Kalmar.
- Prioritising Health and Safety by ensuring the use of correct PPE, following documented site practices and maintaining a 'See something, Say Something' approach.
- Ensuring that no defect is past forward, raising Quality issues in a timely fashion while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Adhering to time restraints to exceed both internal and external customer requirements.
- Some manual lifting will be required
- Data Management Duties
- Data Collection
- Use of In-house systems
- Complete necessary administration tasks relating to audits
- Ensure completion of required audit schedules to meet deadlines
- Running reports
- As a valued team member, you will be expected to work individually and as part of a team
Requirements:
- Previous MHE experience required. An RTITB or ITSAAR accredited licence preferred but Inhouse licences with the above Certified Trainer also accepted.
- Some previous Operating Systems experience is preferred but not essential as all training will be given.
- Motivation, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn. The successful candidate will have the drive to achieve targets and take the customer's view.
- An understanding of safe working practices - adhering to Health & Safety and Environmental requirements.
- Great attention to detail and a desire to solve problems.
- Good communication skills.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
