Process Engineer
Stafford, Staffordshire.
Salary: c£40,000 per annum.
Package Details: Paid Overtime, 28 days holiday, Pension Contributions.
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday (37 hours per week, flexible on times) 4 DAY WORKING WEEK.
A successful SME engineering business based in Stafford are looking for a technically orientated Process Engineer to join their fast-paced manufacturing team.
Manufacturing a wide range of engineering products into an array of industries, this opportunity offers an interesting technical challenge and chance to play a pivotal role in developing processes and further improving internal manufacturing systems.
This role will appeal to a Process / Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys finding out ways to manufacture a product more efficiently, at a faster pace and within a more streamlined manner saving time and expense! Once up to speed, this is an autonomous role where the engineer is giving the tools to succeed but also the leeway to make real improvements!
As a dedicated Process Engineer, you will be a key part of our production and operations team. Your primary responsibility will be to analyse, develop, and enhance manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.
Open to any type of manufacturing industry experience, this role will appeal to an engineer adept at working within a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Role Description.
Process Analysis and Improvement - Assess and refine existing processes to reduce waste, improve quality, and increase overall efficiency.
Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving - Identify and resolve production issues, ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly.
Data Collection and Reporting - Collect data to analyse production performance, creating reports to inform management of opportunities for process enhancement.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, maintenance, and operations, to ensure process alignment with business goals.
Ensure all processes comply with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
To create and maintain the database for all processes, to include SOP's, Training and control documentation.
Skills and Qualifications.
Process Engineer / Production Engineering background.
Experience within a fast paced, manufacturing environment.
Ability to develop and improve manufacturing processes.
Understanding of mechanical/electrical engineering.
Strong communication skills.
