Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location:Stafford, UK

Job Purpose:

The primary responsibility of the Quality Inspector is to ensure that all products are manufactured to the required quality standards within the production area. This role also involves reporting on quality issues and implementing improvements across the business to meet both customer expectations and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections at all stages of production, from goods inward to final inspection, ensuring compliance with customer drawings, specifications, and expectations.
  • Measure initial samples and record results, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
  • Develop and establish inspection, testing, and evaluation standards and methods using engineering expertise.
  • Collaborate closely with quality and engineering teams
  • Assist manufacturing teams in resolving quality defects and system failures.
  • Carry out goods inward inspection to verify incoming materials meet quality standards.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Knowledge, Skills, and Personal Requirements:

  • Familiarity with ISO9001:2015 systems and their maintenance.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Background in inspection or engineering.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Capable of working independently as well as within a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
