Job Role: Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist
Location: Stafford
Working period: Full time, will consider part time/ flexible hours
Working Hours: Mon – Fri (37.5 hours per week)
Assignment period: 3 months (12 weeks)
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dedicated multi-disciplinary team, providing psychological assessment and intervention for individuals with complex mental health needs. You will play a key role in shaping service provision, offering psychological formulations and leading interventions that support individuals in their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct specialist psychological assessments and develop evidence-based interventions.
- Provide psychological support to service users, their families, and carers.
- Offer consultation, supervision, and training to other professionals within the team.
- Contribute to service development, research, and audit to improve patient care.
- Work autonomously within professional guidelines while collaborating with the wider team.
What We’re Looking For:
- HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist.
- Postgraduate doctoral-level training in Clinical Psychology.
- Significant experience working with individuals experiencing complex mental health difficulties.
- Strong skills in psychological assessment, formulation, and therapy.
- Ability to provide clinical supervision and contribute to service development.
