Description
As an IT Category/ IT Contracts Manager you will;
- Category Management: Develop and implement category strategies for IT procurement, including hardware, software and services. You will be managing a spent of 30-40millon
- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Strategic Sourcing: Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers, assess their capabilities, and negotiate contracts to achieve the best terms and conditions.
- Spend Analysis: Monitor and analyse spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure compliance with budgetary constraint
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are met and risks are mitigated.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure procurement activities align with business objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT procurement, including supply chain disruptions and compliance issues.
- Performance Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings to senior management.
- You will also manage a small marketing category
Profile
A successful IT Category Manager/ Contracts Manager should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT procurement contract management with a large supplier base
- You must have knowledge of IT products and services, market trends, and supplier landscape.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
Job Offer
