Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Plan and implement engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
Encourage student participation and foster a positive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues within the English department to enhance curriculum delivery.
Support extracurricular activities such as school drama productions, literary clubs, or writing workshops.
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in English or a closely related subject.
Experience teaching English at secondary school level (KS3 & KS4)
A passion for literature and language, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to create engaging lessons and build rapport with students.
Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to teaching and classroom management.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community.
