Male PE Teacher

Position: Boys' PE Teacher
Location: Secondary School, Stafford
Contract: Full-Time, Starting January 2025
Pay: £160 - £224 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Boys' PE Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive team at a reputable secondary school in Stafford. This full-time role commences in January 2025 and involves full teaching responsibilities, including planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver an engaging and inclusive PE curriculum for boys across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and school policies.
• Foster a positive and motivating learning environment, encouraging participation and skill development.
• Organise and oversee extracurricular activities, including sports teams and events.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
• A commitment to promoting health, fitness, and well-being.
• Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding procedures (a valid Enhanced DBS check will be required).
