They will take a lead role in projects.

Description

This post requires an experienced general practice commercial surveyor to assistwith the strategic management of the Council's commercial property portfolio.1.2. To take full responsibility for managing part of a diverse commercial propertyportfolio and to undertake a range of associated professional work, includinginspections, valuations, lettings, rent reviews, lease renewals, options appraisalsand dispute management.1.3. To review and monitor property accounts, with a view to maximising rental income,taking corrective action in respect of voids/debtors as necessary.1.4. To take responsibility for reporting, managing, and ensuring compliance with anyrelevant rules and regulations.1.5. To ensure the Council's Health & Safety and Statutory Compliance policies arefollowed for all commercial properties.1.6. To contribute to the development and support delivery of the Council'sSustainability and Energy Strategy across the Council's commercial assets.1.7. To provide sound professional advice via both verbal updates and formal writtenreports to property colleagues and directors; other corporate departments; theCabinet and the elected Mayor.1.8. To develop strong and trusted relationships with commercial property tenants,residents and other external stakeholders.

Profile

Need to be qualified registered RICS capable of completing and signing off property valuations and normal leases / license etc.
