Exciting opportunity for a Food Technology Teacher - 5 days a week.

Salary: £130 to £185 per day (Dependent on Teaching Band)

TeacherActive are currently working in partnership with a secondary school in Penkridge who are looking for a Food Technology teacher to join their DT department. This role will be full time and 5 days a week and will involve all teaching responsibilities.

With 20 Years of excellent service we have developed strong, long standing relationships with the Schools that we work with. We are currently offering a fantastic opportunity to work within our partner Schools .  

The desired candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience working as a Food Technology Teacher. This role will be on a fixed term basis, due to run until the end of the academic year  but has the potential to be extended to become a permanent position depending on performance. 

The successful teacher will have the following:

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Strong subject knowledge
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• Experience supporting KS3/Key Stage 3 and KS4/Key Stage 4
• Food Hygiene certificate
• An Enhanced DBS that is on the update service (desired)
