About the Role:

We are recruiting a qualified Food Technology Teacher for a long-term position in a secondary school in Penkridge. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing lessons that teach students essential food preparation, nutrition, and cooking skills. This role requires you to manage marking and assessments to track student progress. The position starts ASAP and will run on an ongoing basis, offering competitive daily rates, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Spanish at the secondary level.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in their learning.
  • Commitment to carrying out the full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking, and assessments.
  • Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK.
