I am recruiting for an Assessment/Product Manager for a repeat client specialising in the assessment & accreditation of UK organisations. This is a full-time, remote position, working from 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend travel. You should expect to travel for up to 2-3 days per week, with at least 2 night spent away from home. You will be the key focal point for customers, meeting their accreditation expectations with objectivity, diligence, and excellent customer service.
Main Duties:
- Supply Chain Coordination: Understand the customer's niche, select and manage assessment teams, ensuring efficient resource allocation and smooth operations.
- Operational Planning: Establish and implement assessment approaches, optimising processes for maximum efficiency.
- Leadership: Lead assessments and coordinate teams, driving performance and ensuring high standards.
- Reporting: Collate and report on each assessment, providing clear and actionable insights.
- Project Management: Progress each assessment project from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Key Requirements:
- Supply Chain Expertise: Extensive experience in supply chain management within construction, fenestration or similar.
- ISO/IEC 17025 Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and its implementation.
- Operational Efficiency: Proven track record of improving operational processes and enhancing supply chain efficiency.
- Customer Focus: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Auditing/Assessment: Experience in organisation auditing or assessment.
- UK Driving License: A valid UK driving license and own vehicle are essential for this position due to the extensive weekly travel.
