We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Drainage Engineer based in the Staines, South West London, or Surrey areas to join an expanding drainage contractor based in Kent, and the opportunity comes with a basic salary up to 35k (depending on experience), a company vehicle, no on call rota, but lots of overtime available.
This role will be working for a family-run business which has gone from strength to strength and has recently won a contract that covers over 10,000 domestic properties over South West London, mainly in and around the Staines area.
The role will mostly be completing regular reactive plumbing and drainage blocks, including both internal and external drainage systems. The successful Drainage Engineer will be comfortable working within housing association properites, and travelling to numerous sites per day to complete works.
Drainage Engineer Salary & Benefits
- Salary 30k - 35k, depending on experience
- Company vehicle provided
- Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm (1 hour lunch break)
- No on call rota
- 28 days holiday, including bank holidays
Drainage Engineer Job Requirements
- Capable of completing internal and external drain unblocks, including unblocking sinks, taps, toilets, and manholes.
- Any experience with high pressure water jetting (HPWJ), desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Based within a commutable distance of Staines
