Senior Accountant Manager

TPF Recruitment, Surrey's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, are recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join a highly reputable, and fantastic quality firm of chartered accountants, as a Manager. 

You will be joining a fast growing and successful practice, where you will work in a general practice capacity within the accounts team. You will be offered exposure to complex, high value work, dealing with prestigious national and international clients.

You will be given lots of autonomy and manage a portfolio of clients including Limited Companies, Partnerships and Individuals.

• Preparation of year end and management accounts
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Monitoring Statutory compliance of clients in all accounts and taxation matters
• Preparation of Corporate and Income Tax returns
• Liaise with clients, offering advice when required
• Reporting to and liaising with the Partners
• General supervision of junior and other support staff including planning and monitoring of work, on the job training and assessment of job performance
• Meeting and onboarding of new clients

You'll be required to be ACCA / ACA qualified with over 2 years practice experience.

Other requirements include:

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a client facing capacity
• Strong technical ability and experience managing own portfolio of clients
• Confidence with people management and delegating work

Competitive salary offered, likely in the region of £50,000-£60,000, but will be dependent on experience. 

• hybrid working may be considered after a settling in period, which may be up to 6 months.
