- Represent parents, guardians, and local authorities in care proceedings
- Handle complex public law children matters, including care and supervision orders
- Work closely with social services, expert witnesses, and other stakeholders
- Prepare case strategies, draft legal documents, and attend court hearings
- Advocate for clients in family courts and ensure their rights are protected
- Qualified Solicitor with 2 years’ experience in child care law
- Experience in Legal Aid-funded cases
- Children Law Accreditation (preferred or willing to obtain)
- Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload with empathy and professionalism
