The role
As anair freight import operator/air freight forwarder, you will beworking closely with the pricing team, operations, business development managers, and agents to meet all operational requirements of the import section within the air freightdivision. As a import Air freight forwarder, you willGenerate import customs entries whilst ensuring compliance with HMRC obligations,Assist with administration tasks within the department, including job costing and invoicing for the import team andEnsure all duty/tax payments made via FTS are collected and monitored. This role will include all the normalAirfreight Import Operator duties.
Experience
we are looking for an Air Freight import operator who has around 2 years within air freight, ideally within imports. You will have working knowledge of customs clearance for importswithin airfreight. you will also haveExcellent time management Handling multiple urgent tasks whilst having the ability to constantly prioritiseyour incoming workload.
