Join a well-established and successful landscaping company as an HSEQ Manager, where you will oversee all aspects of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental management at both site and management levels.
Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the organisation's Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management systems.
- Prepare Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and COSHH documentation for all jobs.
- Provide professional support and advice on Occupational Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality mattersÂ
- Conduct assurance and audit roles, liaising with external accreditation bodies and auditors.
- Assist staff and sub-contractors in complying with relevant legislation, client standards, and contractual arrangements.
- Promote a culture of safety ownership throughout the organisation.
- Engage with and train staff and managers to improve skills and safety performance.
- Assist with fleet management and maintain FORS accreditation.
- Ensure new starters receive comprehensive Health and Safety inductions.
- Produce HSEQ performance reports as required.
- Promptly alert management to significant accidents and incidents, and oversee all incident and accident investigations.
- Keep the group informed on legislative and regulatory updates, ensuring all QMS documentation is up to date.
Key Skills:
- Significant experience in safety and environmental management ideally within the construction industry.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate to achieve common goals.
- Determination and drive to deliver in challenging situations.
- Relevant academic qualifications, such as a NEBOSH certificate (General and/or Construction Certificate) or equivalent.
- Experience with HSEQ management systems and maintaining ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications.
- Auditor skills.
- Experience in managing and developing staff.
- Computer literacy.
- Full, clean driving licence.
