Freight Forwarding Import / Export Coordinator (Night Shift)About the Role

Are you an experienced Freight Forwarding professional with a strong background in Air, Sea, and Road freight? We’re looking for a highly organised Import/Export Coordinator to handle critical logistics operations during our night shift. In this role, you will work independently to manage time-sensitive tasks, ensuring seamless overnight processing and supporting our day team in delivering a first-class logistics service.

Freight Forwarding Import / Export Coordinator - Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Import & Export Operations: Coordinate air, sea, and road freight shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
  • Time-Critical Tasks: Oversee and complete priority shipments, ensuring all required paperwork and clearances are handled within strict deadlines.
  • End-to-End Documentation: Prepare, verify, and finalise all necessary documentation, including customs entries, commercial invoices, and bill of lading.
  • Status Monitoring: Track shipments and communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to provide regular status updates.
  • Day Shift Handover: Ensure all essential tasks from the day shift are addressed and any required follow-up actions are communicated effectively.
  • Issue Resolution: Pro-actively manage any issues that arise during the shift, finding solutions to ensure service continuity.
Freight Forwarding Import / Export Coordinator - Requirements:
  • Experience in Freight Forwarding: Experience with import/export logistics across air, sea, and road freight.
  • Strong Knowledge of Customs and Compliance: Thorough understanding of customs regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Independent Worker: Able to manage tasks autonomously, make decisions, and troubleshoot with minimal supervision.
  • Organizational Skills: High level of attention to detail, especially under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Excellent Communication: Confident communicator who can liaise effectively with day shift teams and external partners.
