Job Title: Administration Support & Client Service Assistant

Location: Stalybridge, Manchester

Working Hours: 9:00am - 3:00pm, 3 days per week (additional hours may be required during busy periods)

Salary: £20,000 pro rata, with 6-month/12-month salary review

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of our leading firms if you are looking for your first step into the world of financial services. We are seeking a proactive, highly organised Administration Support & Client Service Assistant to provide essential administrative support to our team of Mortgage Advisors. This varied role will involve a range of responsibilities, from managing client data and communications to supporting the smooth progression of mortgage and protection transactions.

In addition to administrative duties, you will assist in building brand awareness for our firm, manage our social media channels, and liaise with lenders, solicitors, estate agents, and clients to ensure excellent customer service throughout the process.

This position is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in financial services. We also offer the potential to support the right candidate in achieving CeMAP qualification and progressing to a Mortgage & Protection Advisor role in the future (though this is not a requirement).

Key Responsibilities:

• Client & Transaction Management: Input data into Client Fact Finds and mortgage/protection applications via relevant OWS, lender, and protection portals.

• Client Communication: Liaise with lenders, protection providers, solicitors, estate agents, surveyors, and clients to ensure smooth transactions and timely completion.

• Social Media & Brand Management: Manage Walton FS Ltd’s social media channels in partnership with our third-party provider, to build brand awareness in Tameside, Manchester, Yorkshire, and beyond.

• Administrative Support: Organise diaries and appointments for Mortgage Advisors and follow up on lead referrals.

• Insurance Support: Provide suitable general insurance (buildings and contents) solutions for clients prior to mortgage completion.

• Commission Management: Create and process commission statements for advisors and lead referral introducers on a monthly basis.

• General Administration: Handle incoming emails, phone calls, and post. Ensure client and advisor records are maintained accurately.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Excellent phone manner and communication skills (both written and oral).

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Target-driven and highly motivated to achieve performance goals.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Client-focused with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

• Proficiency in IT and good knowledge of office software.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
