Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher (Full-Time, Temporary)
Location: Stalybridge, TamesideContract: Temporary, Full-Time (February Half Term 2025 - July 2025)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive school community in Stalybridge, Tameside. This is a full-time, temporary position, starting after the February half-term and continuing until the end of the academic year in July 2025.
Role Overview:As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education to our young learners, fostering a love for learning and enabling them to achieve their full potential. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum, while creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of KS1 pupils.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing regular feedback and support to ensure individual development.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, fostering a respectful and supportive atmosphere.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupils' academic and personal growth.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including participation in events and extracurricular activities.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience teaching in KS1.
- A strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
