Senior Office / Administration Coordinator

Location: Stamford

Salary: Dependent on experience

With over 25 years of supplying security equipment from their office on Casterton Road, Stamford, they have a reputation built on their commitment to the highest quality standards in security.

The Role

This role will be responsible for the coordination of all office administration linking in with their administration team, support to their engineering teams and planning of the engineers work to ensure an excellent customer experience. You will have expert knowledge of seamless administration, very comfortable using systems and understand the nature of great customer support in order to support their field-based installation team (x 4) install and service Intruder systems, Fire alarm systems, CCTV, Access Control and Gates and Barriers. You will be eager make your mark on this role, and looking for a long term, permanent role in a well-established and very reputable Stamford based family company. The duties include:

  • Guide, lead, supervise seamless administration and customer support between employees, across both administrative and engineering teams, so as to provide for an excellent customer experience from first contact through to completion of works.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day planning and co-ordination of the engineers work and scheduling of customer demands, responding to emergencies as necessary.
  • Implementation of all relevant standards and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Preparing and reviewing standard procedural documents for daily operations.
  • Support procurement and all buying process ensuring effective supplier management within budgets.
  • Responsible for ensuring staff training and development programs take place to ensure the staff are fully training as per industry guidelines.
  • Comply with the policies and procedures of the company, including health and safety
  • Comply with any reasonable requests of the Directors.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experienced senior administrator who is able to oversee others
  • Have a first-class customer service approach.
  • Excellent customer service experience with a friendly passion for dealing with customers
  • Experience of supporting engineers or similar OR a field-based team
  • Excellent IT skills with natural ability to use software as well as MS Office, Teams, internal databases etc
  • Ability and interest to learn about the fire, intruder and security system industry
  • You must hold a Full UK driving Licence or equivalent
