The School and Role

A Primary School based in Northumberland are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their nurturing team. This role will be within a vibrant Reception class supporting a child on a 1:1 basis with Special Educational Needs and Difficulties. The leadership team are looking for an ambitious, resilient and knowledgeable candidate to take on this role and to provide optimal support. This is a full-time role, working between the hours of 08:45am-15:15pm.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will:

-          Have experience of supporting in Early Years.

-          Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification.

-          Be able to support pupils through offering differentiated learning.

-          Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team.

-          A friendly and enthusiastic personality.

-          Have excellent knowledge of supporting children with SEND.
