***Required: A new Laboratory Technician to work for my client***

You'll need a degree in Chemistry for this position.

It's highly desirable if you have some laboratory experience as well but not required.

The Role

You will be primarily responsible for carrying out analysis when applicable according to industrial practise as well as to the highest internal level of quality.

All activities carried out in best interest of the business, including cost optimisation and quickest turnaround.

You'll need to adhere to HSE guidelines and best practice guidelines.

You'll be striving to deliver exceptional customer service and analytical excellence throughout the laboratory stage.

Based in the company's Stanford Le Hope factory, you'll report to the Technical Services Manager and will be tasked with the following:

- Carrying out and reporting analysis on fuel, components, pilots and water samples, following both in-house and industry standardised test methods

- Blending a wide range of laboratory fuel blends and preparing additive solutions independently and consistently

- Calibrating and standardising laboratory equipment aligned with the laboratory quality management system

- Working closely with the rest of the laboratory team to ensure highest level of quality is getting delivered

About you:

You will need:

- Ability to think laterally, flexibly and effectively under pressure

- High attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong technical knowledge, communication and organisational skills

We need you to be HSE focussed and be a chemistry graduate or have an equivalent degree.
