The company:

Based near Stanford Le-Hope you will be joining a UK-based market-leading company within the fuel & chemical manufacturing industry. This company has a focus on producing clean fuel & chemical products for a wide range of industries, such as Automotive, Marine, Motorsport and more.


Due to continuous growth, the company is looking for an experienced laboratory technician to join them in carrying out analysis to develop bespoke and technical products for a range of niche markets. If you are an experienced laboratory technician from a chemical background looking to take the next step, then this could be the role for you!


Job responsibilities:

  • Carry out and reporting analysis on chemicals, components, pilots and water samples, following both in-house and industry standardised test methods
  • Blending a wide range of laboratory chemical blends and preparing additive solutions independently and consistently
  • Working alongside the quality management team to assess production quality
  • Calibrate lab equipment aligned with the quality management systems.
  • Actively work on continuous improvement method developments

Skills and Experience required:

  • Previous experience within a similar role, within a laboratory environment
  • A degree in Chemistry or chemical engineering is highly advantageous.
  • Strong technical and quality management systems knowledge
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to explain your findings and suggest improvement methods.
