As a Trainee Customs Process Administrator, you will be responsible for processing client data, managing shipping information, and applying customs and excise duties and procedures. This role involves working with a variety of systems in a fast-paced environment, so a keen eye for detail and pride in your work are essential. Trainee Customs Process Administrator duties include:

  • Learning basic customs import formalities and procedures using SCDP (Special Customs Declaration Procedures).
  • Operate Duty Management computer systems.
  • Assist with the day today management of duty management accounts, ensuring compliance with authorisation and SOPs.
  • Process customs warehouse removals within compliant timeframes and maintain stock records.
  • Perform general office administration tasks, such as filing and recordkeeping.
  • Liaise with HMRC, clients, and suppliers regularly.
