JGA is excited to be partnering with a thriving organization that is looking to expand its team by adding a Payroll Officer!

 Responsibilities:
  • Provide assistance and cover for other areas of finance
  • Process weekly payroll for two subsidiaries
  • Working with the team to ensure that customer service is always maintained
  • Process monthly payroll for one company
  • PAYE/HRMC compliance, pension compliance, & payroll deduction reconciliation
  • Communicate with all members of staff at all levels
  • Ad hoc tasks
Skills & experience required:
  • Experience with UK payroll legislation and regulations
  • Qualifications in payroll or a related field (e.g., CIPP qualifications)
  • Relevant experience in a fast-paced environment is advantageous
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas and functions)
  • Data entry and data management skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve payroll-related issues effectively
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Ability to learn new systems
  • Flexible approach to duties and tasks
