The ideal candidate is responsible for assembling parts and components to build mechanical or electrical products.
They read and interpret engineering drawings, assemble parts and components accurately, test the assembled components and report any faults.
They must also ensure that the products meet quality and safety standards. This role also involves testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing any issues that may arise.
The successful Assembly Technician must be able to work safely and efficiently with hand tools, power tools, machinery, and other equipment.
They must also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
