The Role:
Our client is seeking a passionate and skilled Art Teacher to join their vibrant and supportive department this September. This is a full-time position, with the successful candidate responsible for delivering engaging Art lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the UK Art curriculum, a creative teaching approach, and the ability to inspire students to reach their full artistic potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality Art lessons across various year groups.
Inspire students to develop their creative skills and artistic expression.
Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment.
Assess, track, and report student progress in line with school policies.
Participate in department meetings and school-wide events.
Support students in their personal and academic development.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A relevant degree in Art or a related field.
Experience teaching Art at secondary level (KS3 & KS4).
A creative and dynamic approach to teaching.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Passionate about fostering creativity in young learners.
Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this).
