About the Role:
We are currently recruiting a Geography Teacher for a well-established secondary school located in the heart of Stansted. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and skilled educator, capable of inspiring students and fostering a love for Geography. You will teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, helping them develop critical thinking skills, an understanding of the world, and a passion for the subject.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and informative Geography lessons that align with the national curriculum.
Plan, prepare, and teach lessons that cater to diverse student needs and learning styles.
Assess student progress, provide feedback, and help them develop academically and personally.
Maintain effective classroom management to create a positive learning environment.
Collaborate with fellow staff members to enhance the curriculum and support student success.
Foster an appreciation for Geography and global issues both inside and outside of the classroom.
About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A genuine passion for teaching Geography and supporting students in their academic journey.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage and motivate students through innovative and interactive lessons.
Enthusiasm for working in a collaborative and supportive school environment.
