- Financial Strategy & Analysis: Provide insights to support decision-making on business growth, cost control, and strategy.
- Compliance & Reporting: Oversee financial health, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, produce statutory financial accounts, and handle audit and tax compliance.
- Internal Controls: Own financial controls, accounting policies, and treasury management.
- Payroll & Credit Control: Oversee payroll, manage credit control, and set credit limits for new customers.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning processes.
- Team Leadership: Lead the Finance Operations and Compliance teams, ensuring efficiency and alignment with company goals.
- External Audit: Serve as the main contact for external audits.
- Qualified Accountant: CIMA, ACA, ACCA (minimum 10 years post-qualification experience).
- SME Finance Experience: Strong background in finance and financial control, ideally in an SME environment.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage teams and influence business strategy.
