Our client a leading provider of specialist equipment to the Healthcare sector are seeking a stand-alone HR Manager to support their small team of professionals. This is a newly created role and would suit an experienced HR generalist who thrives in a small setting and enjoys working hands-on. The role will be located at the company’s offices near Stanstead.

As HR Manager you will work in conjunction with a third-party consultancy, to provide HR support for circa twenty-five employees. You will be a crucial figure within the organisation, acting as a trusted advisor to the Managing Director and playing a pivotal role in ensuring the business operates seamlessly.

Key responsibilities will be to develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practices. Lead on HR projects such as talent management and workforce planning. Oversee ER cases, including absence management, maternity/paternity, disciplinaries and grievances. Develop performance management reviews and appraisals and support line managers with coaching. You will also manage the employee database, manage starter/leaver process and produce regular reports based on HR metrics. 

The ideal candidate will have:.

•             Proven experience in a ‘hands on’ HR Manager role

•             Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.

•             Previous experience of leading HR projects

•             CIPD Level 5 or above (desirable)

•             Natural communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels.

•             A proactive and hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills

The salary for this role is up to £50,000 plus benefits including 25 days holiday and pension.
