Exciting Opportunity: Engine Mechanic/Technician Needed in Stansted

Are you a skilled aerospace industry professional with a passion for engine maintenance and repair? This could be the perfect opportunity for you! This company is seeking an experienced Engine Mechanic/Technician to join their dynamic team in Stansted.

About the Role

As an Engine Mechanic/Technician, you will be a key member of the team, responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance and repair activities in the workshop. You will work closely with the Team Leaders and Workshop Manager to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

The Engine Mechanic/Technician role will involve occasional field work, either near-wing or on-wing, so a flexible and adaptable approach is essential. You will be required to work on a variety of engine types, including CFM56, LEAP, V2500, RB211, CF6, CF34, PW4000, PW1000G and Trent700.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this Engine Mechanic/Technician role, you will need to have the following:

  • Time-served aerospace industry apprenticeship with a minimum of 2 years' post-apprenticeship experience
  • Previous experience working in a busy engine shop on the engine types listed above
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of engine shop manuals and associated manuals, including relevant ATA chapters
  • Awareness of Part 145 and FAA regulations
  • A previously held company approval on at least one of the engine types above

Borescope inspection experience and current Human Factors, EWIS, and Fuel Tank Safety training would be an advantage, but are not essential as training can be provided.
